HTC Desire Knockoff
Say what’s the attraction for those knockoffs or Shanzhai products? Apart from the much lower price, those cloned products bear much resemblance with the real ones, and the more similar, the more popular. Who would resist the temptation of products with impressive features but lower prices? Now here comes a high imitation of HTC Desire, with almost the same dimension with the real HTC Desire.
Let’s see what this HTC Desire knockoff brings to us. The specs include popular and stable MTK 6516 416MHz, 256M of RAM, 512M of ROM, 4.3 inches WVGA display with 480*800 resolution capacitive multitouch screen, with support for bluetooth, Wifi, and GPS. It will run dual operating systems, Android 2.2 and Windows 6.5. You can also expect light sensor, G-sensor and proximity sensor. There is a front-facing autofocus camera, with 8 megapixels definition. Sounds not bad!
As a high imitation knockoff, this mobile phone has a body as slim as 11.6 mm, exactly like the real one. On the left flank of the phone, there are physical keys to adjust volume. Like EVO 4G, this HTC Desire clone comes with touch keys instead of traditional entity keys.
The capacitive touchscreen and shell design of this HTC Desire knockoff seem more impressive than the real one. So will this Shanzhai phone receive positive response from the customers when it enters the phone market in the next month?

MTK may not be in your vocabulary as a chip maker, but chances are that you will feel it hard to ignore it if you get to know that MTK is the very chipset provider which churns out numerous chips for a vast majority of Shanzhai handsets. The launching of second-gen MTK chipset, MT6573, marks...
