Blue Samsung S5PV210 Android 2.2 Tablet
I meant to shoot a video about this Blue-Colored Samsung Chipset android 2.2 tablet. Why blue color? Simple! It seems unique. For almost all the tablet pcs that we ever seen are black-colored, silver-colored or sometimes pink-colored. I was digressing a little. Back to the point.
So I proceeded to download some high definition pictures and transferred them to my TF card. I inserted it into this tablet. Oh, my dear God! I could not find where those pictures were. No pictures in the Gallery. THERE IS NO FILE MANAGER ON THIS TABLET TOTALLY!
No file manager, how can I find all those audio, video files or pictures that I transferred to this tablet? How could those careless designers forget this? Can’t believe what were they thinking when they designed this tablet? Are they out of their mind? This really freaked me out. I wanted to throw this thing away at that moment. Controlling my anger, I started to come up with some ideas to solve this.
My first response: Google it and search an android file manager. I tapped “android file manager download”. Quite a few results came out, but most of them were unhelpful, with only description but no links. Or rather, “go to download in the android market” was their kind suggestion to the readers. I sniffed at this kind of ridiculous advice: if I could download there, how could I take pains to search this? I noticed that most of those pages were linked to ASTRO File Manager. It must spend a lot money on publicizing and came along with those annoying ads.
After 30 minutes of long time searching, I finally found out an OI File Manager. I swore I was not a capper of OI. But I had to admit that it was easy to download and use it.
I downloaded this OI File Manager on the browser of the tablet. When the icon for downloading stopped changing, I knew it finished downloading. So I swiped down this icon and saw the downloaded file. I tapped it, selected “Package Installer” and chose “agree” for whatever prompts. Finally, I could see the Manager File on the apps menu and found where my pictures and audio and video files were.
Smart designers: do not forget to preinstall truly important and useful software next time!

Yep. Same experience with other Android tablets. Most seem to omit a file manager.
i have learnt to be patient when it comes to install something on android tablets. It’s worth the while when you finally make it. But I really hate that when the designers omit something really important.
