Hanvon 7 inch android capacitive tablet Hpad
No one would think it abrupt for Hanvon, a major E-reader manufacturer, to step into tablet market and bring out their own work. And it seems that Hanvon tablet Hpad is not something casual but looks exactly as what a fairly good tablet can be judging from its hardware awesome configuration. Hpad A116 stores ARM Cortex A8 processor (unspecified version), android 2.2 or 2.3, 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024*600 resolution, 512M of RAM, rear and front-facing cameras for video chatting and photographing, with support for Bluetooth, Wifi and 3G, and a 3300 mAh battery enduring 6 hours of video playback or 8 hours of reading capability.
This Hpad aslo has one outstanding feature devoid from many other tablets: the ability to scan and recognize business cards by way of the rear camera and then have them saved in the tablet, which is quite convenient and useful to those business people. All this is due to its customized Android interface and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology. Though Hpad A116 doesn’t offer access to Google android market, Hanvon tablet has its own apps store, over 5000 apps plus access to 160,000 books. That’s an obvious advantage for E-reader makers. Releasing date isn’t specified with an estimated price around ¥2000 ($303.6).
