ipad 2 with 1MP Camera
Tantalizing enough! What would be more fascinating than revealing one’s true look little by little like Apple-branded devices, be it heated discussed iPhone 5 or soon-to-be-released iPad 2. Most people develop interest in speculating what iPad 2 brings to us based on some leaked info. Last time was the iPad 2 case. Judging from the holes of the case for iPad, we may know that the second-gen iPad have back facing camera, volume and mute switches, dock connector, speaker port, and possibly SD card slot and mini display port. This time is the latest SDK. It shows that there will be a rear camera on iPad 2 but regrettably with only 1 megapixel and 720p video-recording.
A 1MP rear camera tends to disappoint a large group of Apple fans, compared with many high-end tablets, like Motorola Xoom with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera, and Samsung Galaxy Tab with a 3MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The customers might have to wait for iPad 3 or iPad 4 to get a iPad with rear and front-facing cameras of decent definition.

Impossible! I don’t believe it at all. How can iPad 2 be packed with a camera with only 1MP?
First of all, we hear a lot of devices with 0.3MP, 1.3MP, 2MP, but seldom with 1MP.
Secondly, the cost for 1MP and 5MP would not have too much difference. If Apple men decides to allow iPad 2 to have a camera, there is no reason for them to choose such a low-quality camera. Third, since it is a rear camera and its mainly use must be photographing. What’s the users gonna to do with this low-definition camera? To take pictures? God, even my cell phone has a camera with 2MP. After all, as a high-end tablet, Apple is humiliating itself to pack such a crap camera on iPad.
I suppose the camera of iPad is at least of 2MP.
