Gigabyte-S1080 Win7 Tablet
Unlike a multitude of various android-based tablets, Windows 7 slates seem born to be high-end tablets, both an advantage and a disadvantage for Win7 tablet pcs. In compatible with Windows 7, we will unavoidably find sound hardware configuration on Win7 slates. However, the targeted customers are much fewer due to the affordability, since windows 7 slates appear a little pricier than android tablets. So Gigabyte is such a Windows 7 tablet like that.
Gigabyte S1080 will be packed with Intel Atom N570 1.66GHz processor, Windows 7 Home Premium, 10.1-inch capacitive multi touch screen with 1024*600 resolution, a 320GB hard drive, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, two mouse buttons a USB 3.0, a USB 2.0, a SD card slot, VGA output, headphone and MIC jacks, two stereo speakers and Ethernet port. All these seem to suggest a smaller version of netbook or laptop.
A tablet like Gigabyte is possibly cost $400 to $500, but a price like this would invariably push the customer to android tablets. Since with about $350, many customers lay their hands on very awesome tablets if they are not Windows 7 steadfast fans. No exact price is known but the tablet will show up in March. We look forward to truly competitive Win7 slates.
