Apple MacBook Pro Knockoff
While you are overwhelmed by Apple’s decent MacBook Pro, you will sense the striking discrepancy at the sight of an obscure MacBook Pro knockoff. While good things are to admire, common things are not necessarily to criticize. This 13-inch notebook, taking similar appearance as MacBook Pro, comes with two solemn colors: white and black. Let’s see what innards this notebook has: it stores a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 dual core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, 13.3-inch display with 1366*768 pixels of resolution, on Nvidia ION2 platform, including GT218 independent graphics card and 512M of memory, DVD-RW driver, and three 2400mAh cells of battery.
As for others, the ports include 3 USB, a VGA interface, Internet card jack, HDMI output, a headphone jack and mic. It only takes 1999 yuan (around $289) to own a notebook like that, and an extra $18 will bring you 2GB of RAM and 250 GB of storage. This Macbook Pro KIRF, or many other notebooks and knockoffs, prices as a medium or low-end of tablets while many fresh tablet PCs price as some high-end notebooks. Will tablet PCs meet the same fate in the near future? You bet!
