Nokia's Windows Phone 7
It would be a slap on the face for the two relevant parties to describe the partnership between Microsoft and Nokia as the joint of two turkeys, which “won’t make an eagle”. Turkey or eagle, it is still early to tell the final outcome. But the impressive conceptual phones which were worked out by these two major companies and came out shortly after the announcement of the alliance prompt us to believe that one plus one will make more than two.
Though Nokia claims that they will not give up Symbian and Meego, it is apparent that Nokia will concentrate its main focus on Windows Phone 7. And the conceptual devices readily show us what an excellent smartphone would look like. Obviously, a good beginning is half done. But Microkia phones are confronted with two big competitors: iPhone and Android smartphones.
Windows Phone 7, ever since its launch, has only received an embarrassing response in the market. In comparison, iPhone 4 is continually prevailing and purchased avidly by its staunch fans and likewise android-based smartphones have grasped a large group of customers globally. So Nokia’s Window Phone 7 may also meet the same Waterloo, but I assume many customers are expect a breakthrough of WP7. So come on, Nokia and Microsoft, tell those guys that your combination makes an eagle ready to take control!
