Flytouch 2
Flytouch really lives up to its name and soars to popularity at an amazing pace. Flytouch 2 didn’t receive much attention last year and only few manufacturers chose it as the platform. Things have changed with some visible signs so much so that many tablet makers are swarming to manufacture Flytouch 2. Indeed, with much similar configuration as Zenithink ZT-180 ePad, Flytouch 2 has some pleasing improvement in some essential aspects.
First of all, Flytouch 2, packed with a 10.1-inch display, not only comes with almost the same size as iPad and but also looks much like iPad, which can be considered a very successful iPad knockoff. The second is the excellent video playback decoding capability, with support of 1080p output. Thirdly, price is also a very important factor contributing to its rise. Flytouch 2 is merely one fourth the price of iPad. The last one, which I appreciate much, lies in the various and useful ports, such as two USB, HDMI output, earphone jack, RJ 45 interface. After all, most customers, who are used to laptop PCs, still would like to see that tablet PCs inherit some features of laptops.
Now Flytouch 2 has been upgraded to Flytouch 3. Memory has been elevated to 512MB, and operating system to android 2.2, with support of flash 10.1. The stable version of Flytouch 3 will hit the market this month. The popularity of 10-inch Flytouch 2 and Flytouch 3 justifies Steve Jobs’ saying that 10-inch is a more proper size for tablet PC.
