Motorola Titan
Is Motorola going to wage a fierce battle with Apple? Why is it seems that every newly-launched Moto-branded device has a corresponding Apple opponant? Motorola Xoom is on a par with iPad, or more exactly, iPad 2; Motorola Atrix 4G can be considered the leading smartphone of this year, pointing its arrow directly to iPhone 4. What trump card will Moto show to compete ready-to-come iPhone 5? Motorola Titan will probably take on this tough responsibility.
It is said that Moto Titan will be powered Tegra 3 and store an amazing 2GB memory.Leaks show that Tegra 3 will have a quad-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor with more powerful GPU. T30 chip, designed for tablet PC, contains a core with thrice integrated graphics performing functionality, sporting a resolution as high as 1920*1200. Mobile version of Tegra 3 will also has a quad-core processor and sports 1366*786 pixels of resolution. The prototypes of the two versions of Tegra 3 will come out in Q4 this year. What’s equally impressive might be dual 3D camera with 8MP. Well, Moto Titan will run the latest version android 3.0. So incredible and spectacular the configuration looks, living up to its name, Titan!
What are the driving forces of so powerful configuration? Competitors! Those equally stunning rivals! iPhone 5 will come first. We might get some hint as to what iPhone 5 will be packed with based on the freshly-unveiled iPad 2. Most likely, iPhone 5, like iPad 2, will also be powered by a 1GHz A5 dual-core processor, twice faster than the first-generation. iOS 4.3, also announced yesterday, will come with much improvement. More than that, iPhone 5 is expected to run an even potent one, iOS 5.
Confronted with such an opponent, no wonder that Moto has to bring out a more eye-catching phone to grab attention.
