8’’ Flytouch Android 2.2 Tablet Review
I’ve got a chance to lay my hand on the demo unit of this 8 inch android 2.2 tablet Superpad of Infotmic platform, which also powers the noted Flytouch 3. It is indeed a prototype and it looks as if I could even sniff some sort smell typically in the plant. So it is totally forgivable if it looks not so elegant and performs not so perfectly during my course of review.
At first glance, it shares the same design with Flytouch 3 except the discrepancy of size and ratio. The buttons and layout on the top are the same. But ports on the right side show explicitly the differences. The ports might not appear so friendly when there is nowhere to see a USB or a miniUSB, but we can there are two microSD card slots, an earphone jack, a DC plug-in and also a 20-pin port for connection kit which offers USB and RJ45.
The screen appears not so cooperating but fairly understandable. Just like what is aforementioned, it has almost everything what Flytouch 3 inside, familiar UI, rich apps, 3D graphics rotating while swiping and android 2.2. Due to the not sound RAM capacity, 256MB, it might take a little longer for the tablet to load webpage or other operations. But it is quite obvious that this 8’’ Infotmic tablet PC has a better performance on picture quality than Flytouch 3. I know Flytouch 3 performs quite well in aspects but is a little notorious for its quality of online playback.
E-book reading. I download two formats of e-books, TXT and PDF. TXT files can be opened successfully, while PDF files fail to open.
Pictures viewing. I tend to download the very high-definition pictures to test the effect.
On music playback, the tablet will offer you lyrics automatically after you tap “search lyrics” button if your tablet has been connected with network.
Online flash playback, though a little slow to load but rather clear and colorful.
Anyway, the debut of this 8” Flytouch means that you now have choice of size for Flytouch series tablet PCs.

It becomes inevitable for designers and manufacturers to concentrate more on Flytouch series and enrich their functionalities due to the continuing demand. So it is a natural step to bring an integrated 3G module to Flytouch 3 though some may deem that they can do without a packed-in 3G stuff since Flytouch series all sport...
I tend to believe that 10 inch might be the only proper size for the Flytouch series tablet when no size variants of Flytouch 3 ever come out. But now I have to change this stereotypical notion when I stumble upon an 8 inch tablet PC which looks like Flytouch 3 much. So has the...

Fine, black is the mainstream color for so many electronic devices, now with no exception of Flytouch 3, also known as the second-gen Superpad. Finally, I lay my hands on Flytouch 3 and have a chance to review it. Just as what has been stated, I see no difference in the design or dimension between Flytouch 2 and Flytouch 3. The ports include two USB, a TF card slot, HDMI output, RJ 45 interface, an earphone jack, a DV...
Flytouch really lives up to its name and soars to popularity at an amazing pace. Flytouch 2 didn’t receive much attention last year and only few manufacturers chose it as the platform.
