android TV 2.2
The increasing popularity of Apple TV as well as Google TV somehow indicates the general trend for smart television while most people are still quite content with digital TV for good reason. Here comes a Google TV knockoff running android 2.2 inside.
This android TV, codenamed as FV-1, comes with a 1GHz Samsung PV 210 processor, 512MB of RAM, 2GB of storage, android 2.2 sporting Flash10.1, featuring Wifi, Bluetooth and IR infrared control and 2.4G wireless control, HDMI output, 170*111*30mm as dimension and 260g of weight. Sounds like enumerating the typical specs for an android tablet PC except the missing of display and internal battery.
The whole set includes a host, a remote control, an adaptor and a HDMI cable. There is no buttons on the black host and all operations have to be done via the white remote control. The remote control not only accommodates all the keys common in android OS, like Home, Menu, Back, Search, Navigator, Volume and Play and can also control and drag the cursor like a mouse.
android 2.2 TV
Connecting the host with TV via an HDMI cable, this android TV offers us what we can expect from an android tablet, online flash playback, games playing, rich android apps to download, and etc.
Basically, this android device is an android tablet but aims at TV market. Working together with large panel LCD TV, this android device, portable and easy to use, is able to connect television with network and lead to a new experience of android 2.2 on TV.
