nokia n950
The over-exposing Nokia N9 simply rouses our intensive interest in its Meego-based sibling, Nokia N950, a model which is only offered to those developers and sees no possibility to meet the masses. But still, chances are that quite a lot folks are eager to know what the dissimilarities are between Nokia’s top smartphones of Meego platform this year except the conspicuous different design: the unibody N9 and slide-out N950.
Compared with the gorgeous-looking N9 painted with bright color, Nokia N950 appears more suitable for business use due to its sober black color and aluminum case. In spite of the slide-out keyboard, no physical button is spotted below the touchscreen, which will bring the same touch experience as N9. Moreover, N950 may look more appealing for those who expects a QWERTY keyboard. Packed with a common 4.0 TFT touchscreen, N950 feels sort of humbler than N9, but the wide viewing angle, FWVGA resolution and six-finger touch also enable N950 excellent enough in games playing.
Much like N9, N950 also stores a 1GHz Texas Instrument TI OMAP 3630 processor, 512MB of ROM, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB or 64 GB storage for storage options. But due to the different uses, N950 is devoid of Dolby digital and NFC technology on N9. There is also an uncertainty. N950 was previously said to have an 8MP camera as N9, but according to what’s released by FCC recently, N950 actually sports a 12MP camera. But it looks like that further proof is needed to confirm this. Which works longer? N9’s 1450 mAh battery seems more enduring than the 1320 mAh battery inside N950.

nokia n950 vs nokia n9
Well, both Nokia N950 and N9 earn as much as attention for Nokia. The unavailability of N950 somehow prompts us to put our focus on the launching date and pricing of N9. According a vice president of Nokia, Nokia N9 will hit the market on September 23, pricing $660 for 16GB model and $749 for 64GB model.
