After the break of Android 4.0 on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus yesterday on HongKong, do you feel a little regret as the announcement don’t mentioned anything about the Ice Cream Sandwich on tablet ? Even though no news about it, most venders are pioneering their way on the road. The most competitive representatives now are Asus Transformer 1 and 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, Sony and Lenovo. A video from Engadget doubled our curiousness recently but we still cannot know what the tablet it is. Steve Jobs’s passing hurts every man‘s heart even for his opponents Samsung and Google. He charges the world and enlightens man’s creativity on touch screen. In order to miss this giant in electricity world, Samsung and Google sent out a joint announcement which says that Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. “We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,” the spokesman Kim Titus from Samsung explained. Needless to say, this is the first time we’ve seen something like this happen. We need to wait some more time for glimpse of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Aimed at keeping up Samsung‘s strong growth momentum in high-end mobile devices and reducing its reliance on Google, Samsung planned to open its homegrown software platform –Bada to other developers and manufacturers next year. The WSJ reported a person who familiar with the situation said “Samsung is planning to make Bada software an open source platform next year, and the South Korean company has no plans to buy a software company.”Samsung also aimed to make Bada become a smart TVs incorporating advanced functions such as on-demand streaming into flat-screen displays. It is definite that more manufacturers will join Bada like android and more application will be on the way to meet public.

Alibaba to launch English version of Aliyun OS this month, tablet by November

Only a few months after the launch day of Aliyun OS smartphone– K-Touch W700, Alibaba is beginning to look for how to expand its sphere beyond China by launching an English version of the platform this month. Alibaba was also looking to launch tablet using Alibaba’s “Cloud OS” by the end of the year, Wang Jian, the president of Alibaba Cloud Computing, said. Details on pricing, release time frame and partnerships are scarce. He only leaked that they already negotiated with some world makers about it.

What will an Aliyun tablet looks like? Can we expect a colorful case like W700 with 12 colors version? Two months later,all puzzled cloud will be clear up.

The battle between Apple and Samsung is still on and the force sweeps from Australia to Japan now. However when Apple is busy in prepare the next suit. It receives the court summons infringement claims from HTC.

According to Bloomberg report, HTC sued Apple in court and filed a complaint at the U.S. International Trade Commission, alleging infringement of the patents obtained from Google, with four of the patents originating from Motorola Inc., three from Openwave Systems Inc. and two from Palm Inc..

Google’s involvement in aiding HTC represents a new front in an industrywide dispute over smartphone technology that has also ensnared Android customers Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc., Barnes & Noble Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co.

Motorola held a strategic conference for its new products releasing, named as “Newness·Touching the World of 2011 Moto” at Sanya, a notable resort city in Hainan Province of China. On this conference, Moto launched altogether six devices, entirely based on Android. Mr. Shenbin, Moto Vice President and Asian Product Management General Manager, said in the interview that Moto would continue to concentrate focus on android-based devices, with no consideration of other flatforms or independently-developed ones now but not excluding the possibility of putting this in agenda.
