This is 4.7 inch HTC Titan not Motorola’s

Can anybody tell me why this handset has a name of Titan like Motorola’s putting forward on March? There is no need for HTC to take the name or expectation from Motorola’s. When I see Titan, I wonder I have known it long before, but can not believe the features for 4.7 inch smartphone that time. See in details, you can see there is much difference between them. They are absolutely two smartphones. The HTC Titan is a Windows Phone 7.5 Mango smartphone and comes with a 4.7″ Super LCD display, 8MP wide-angle camera, DLNA and HDMI-out. It is powered by Qualcomm’s third generation Snapdragon chipset, clocked at 1.5GHz.

Steve Jobs’s passing hurts every man‘s heart even for his opponents Samsung and Google. He charges the world and enlightens man’s creativity on touch screen. In order to miss this giant in electricity world, Samsung and Google sent out a joint announcement which says that Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. “We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,” the spokesman Kim Titus from Samsung explained. Needless to say, this is the first time we’ve seen something like this happen. We need to wait some more time for glimpse of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

As what Nokia said before that more windows phone is on schedule this year, this Nokia Sun’apperance on Orange’s leaked line-up sheet as what the vague screengrab shows above don’t give me much surprise and shock . It’s getting increasingly difficult to pin down exactly how many Nokia Windows Phones we can expect to see this year. Nokia Sun features a 3.7″ AMOLED screen, 8 megapixel rear camera, 16GB internal storage, polycarbonate shell and a 1.4GHz processor. No pricing information has been revealed yet, but with Nokia World set to kick off in a few weeks, we do not have to wait too long for an answer.

This much expected, mysterious and cheapest tablet finally in the sunshine for all, but the price jumped to Rs 2,999 ($60).Within anticipecation, $35 is really too low to afford a tablet which makes the final manufacturer Pocketsurfer broke the promise and increased the price. Until now, all veils have been pulled down that a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen, 366MHz Connexant CPU, 256MB of RAM and 2GB of storage are fixed in this android 2.2 tablet running Froyo and the Getjar market on top. It seems that Kindle Fire or Lenovo lepad will not be the cheapest tablet as Kapil Sibal, the country’s Minister for Human Resource Development, assured that the much anticipated $35 slate will be released on October 5^th. Evidently, problems of find people who will be able to manufacture these devices at these price points and continue to develop them going forward have been solved yet. Though much appreciate with this tablet aiming to improve India’s educational system through technology, I’m do not enjoy the feeling of reading in the tablet personally and $35 is too low to ensure the quality.

Another Mango phone from LG is on the way, know as LG Jil Sander. Maybe similar with Optimus 7 (aka LG E900) on the appearance at first sight, but LG Jil Sander is handier and lighter. Other specs are practically identical to the Optimus 7, with a 3.8-inch, 480×800-pixel screen, and a 5-megapixel camera capable of 720p video. The specification about CPU and price still can not be known yet. LG get a high profit on Optimus,that’s may be the reason for this similar LG Jil Sander. But I really can not understand why venders want to put forward two similar smartphone without any obvious differences.

Disney Android Phone will rock Japan in October

Disney has decided to debut two new android smartphones–the DM011SH and DM010SH in Japan in October. The 4-inch 3D capable DM010SH will be Walt’s top-of-the-line variant with a 960 x 540 qHD touchscreen. And DM011SH has 3.4-inch touch screen with 854 X 480 resolution and a waterproof body. These two have an identical 1GHz processor and 8MP camera, android 2.3 OS with the signature insignia in candy colors like pink and white, with a black version of the DM010SH available for more subdued Mouse House fans. Will Disney has plan on distributing it outside Japan? No further words on it and the price now.
