Walmart and its MVNO partner, TracFone, are gearing up to plunge into the shallow depths of Android with the Samsung Galaxy Precedent. The device is a rebranded version of the Samsung Galaxy Prevail for Boost Mobile called the Galaxy Precedent. The Precedent is an entry-level Android device and is expected to hit shelves in September. Of course, Straight Talk’s primary selling point with the Precedent is the price itself, which is said to be just shy of $150. Things are sure that Samsung will continue to intro more android-based smartphones of diversifying models and aiming at different markets despite those horrendous Android patent issues and lawsuits.
