Aakash tablet

This much expected, mysterious and cheapest tablet finally in the sunshine for all, but the price jumped to Rs 2,999 ($60).Within anticipecation, $35 is really too low to afford a tablet which makes the final manufacturer Pocketsurfer broke the promise and increased the price. Until now, all veils have been pulled down that a 7-inch 800 x 480 resistive touchscreen, 366MHz Connexant CPU, 256MB of RAM and 2GB of storage are fixed in this android 2.2 tablet running Froyo and the Getjar market on top. The battery life is rated for a rather short three hours in perfect condition.

It seems that Kindle Fire or Lenovo lepad will not be the cheapest tablet as Kapil Sibal, the country’s Minister for Human Resource Development, assured that the much anticipated $35 slate will be released on October 5th. Evidently, problems of find people who will be able to manufacture these devices at these price points and continue to develop them going forward have been solved yet. Though much appreciate with this tablet aiming to improve India’s educational system through technology, I’m do not enjoy the feeling of reading in the tablet personally and $35 is too low to ensure the quality.

android 2.1 tablet

Huawei Ideos S7

I cannot specify why I draw a contrast between Huawei Ideos S7 and Walgreen Maylong M-150. Possibly, it isbecause they hit the tablet market at the same period of time. One belongs to the sort of medium price with common medium features, like Huawei Ideos S7 and ZTE V9 while the other has low price but mediocre features, such as Walgreen Maylong M-150 and Cherrypad America tablet. Of course, the yardsticks are those noted and expensive tablets, such as Advent Vega iPad and Samsung Galaxy. At any rate, tablet market is now boisterous with the competition clamor of various tablet pcs. The following is the contrast of specs between the two, Huawei S7and Maylong.
