It develops an engraved conception that we can hardly expect awesome features from a low-end android tablet PC except low price. That suits our logics pretty well. Things with sound quality and affordable price, they are poetic enough but desperately few. So when I lay my hand on this Dropad A8 android 2.2 tablet, negative presumptions flood in my mind before I even get it reviewed. Well, I have to admit that sometimes you wrong something without reason and vice versa.

There is need to offer some brief introduction to this Samsung PV 210 capacitive tablet before I proceed to my review. No exact name is labeled on this 7-inch tablet, and Dropad A8 … Continue

suntoo e86 tablet

Tablet PCs based on VIA 8505 or VIA 8650, generally speaking, impress me with low version of android operation system, most with android 1.6. This might be the major reason why VIA chipsets tablet generally sells not so good. Now a big leap has been made on VIA family of tablet PCs. Suntoo E86, VIA8650 android 2.2 tablet, is going to change the rigid image in people’s mind.

flytouch 3

flytouch 3

Finally, I lay my hands on Flytouch 3 and have a chance to review it. Just as what has been stated, I see no difference in the design or dimension between Flytouch 2 and Flytouch 3. The ports include two USB, a TF card slot, HDMI output, RJ 45 interface, an earphone jack, a DV plughole. Of course, the specs and outward appearance are definitely not my focus. What I am trying to dig out is that whether it can bring some sort of surprise to me. But the outcome is… Eh, see what I’ve got from this tablet.

iPhone 4-Like Android Tablet

Get quite used to many iPad-like android tablets? Now here comes an android tablet which no longer takes the look of iPad, but its brother, iPhone 4. Does it proves the fact that the designs of Apple’s products are so excellent as to attract so many emulators or that those designers are too mediocre to come up with a new look? Whatever, people will welcome an iPhone-like android table at a time when the markets are rife with iPad-like tablet pcs.

The tablet called Dropad-A8 brings you Samsung S5PV210, 1G Cortex-A8 core, android 2.2, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of flash memory, 7 inch capacitive touchscreen with 800*480 resolution, 3000 mAh battery and … Continue

Blue Samsung S5PV210 Android 2.2 Tablet

I meant to shoot a video about this Blue-Colored Samsung Chipset android 2.2 tablet. Why blue color? Simple! It seems unique. For almost all the tablet pcs that we ever seen are black-colored, silver-colored or sometimes pink-colored. I was digressing a little. Back to the point.
So I proceeded to download some high definition pictures and transferred them to my TF card. I inserted it into this tablet. Oh, my dear God! I could not find where those pictures were. No pictures in the Gallery. THERE IS NO FILE MANAGER ON THIS TABLET TOTALLY!
No file manager, how can I find all those audio, video files or pictures that I transferred to … Continue

Freescale 7 Inch Android 2.2 Tablet

7 Inch Freescale Android 2.2 Tablet

Following the step of android 2.2 Freescale 8’’ resistive tablet and 9.7’’ capacitive multi touchscreen tablet, the 7’’ Freescale android 2.2 tablet comes out naturally. Much similar as its Freescale iMX515 siblings, this 7’’ tablet is packed with 800MHz processor, android 2.2 with flash support, 512MB of RAM, resistive touchscreen with 800*480 resolution and most important of all, with internal 3G module.

On the right side of the front, there are three slim buttons, for Back, Menu and Home, on top of which there is also a camera and a microphone. Unlike many other iPad knockoffs or android tablets whose ports are concentrated on the right flank, the ports of this tablet are … Continue

9.7 inch capacitive multi touchscreen freescale android 2.2 tablet

I have been expecting this 9.7 Freescale capacitive multi touchscreen android 2.2 tablet ever since its announcement. When I finally get my hand on it, I find it is much different from what I have anticipated. It shares many similarities with its 8’’ Freescale sibling, similar shell, design, apps, and etc.

I always intend to consider that a 10’’ tablet pc appears a little large for a female user. So this 9.7 inch tablet (0.85kg) gives me a sense of heaviness, unnecessarily big size and dreary ponderosity. There are two ports on the exterior of tablet, 2.5mm earphone jack and an iPad-like interface for charging use and USB connecting. Quite … Continue

Samsung Chipsets Android 2.2 Tablet

Having reviewing so many android tablets mostly in black color, this white-colored android 2.2 tablet looks rather weird at first sight. But it looks fine after several minutes later. Of course, black ones look more common. The tablet is packed with Samsung S5PV210 chipsets, android 2.2, 8 inch resistive touch screen, 512M DDR2 of RAM, an internal 1.3 MP camera, a 2600 mAh Li-polymer battery. The ports include a USB host, a mini USB, a HDMI, a microSD card slot, a headphone jack, a DV charger plughole.

Though with resistive touchscreen, this tablet has a really very good touch screen performance, obviously much better than many other android tablets. It responds sensitively with finger tappingContinue

Velocity Micro’s 7’’ Android 2.0 Cruz Tablet: Will You Like It or Not?

7 inch google android 2.0 Cruz Reader

Velocity Micro android 2.1 7'' Cruz Tablet

When I see the specs and price of Velocity Micro 7’’ Cruz tablet, I find that it is not satisfactory enough, but seems not disappointing totally, some kind of in the middle among various tablet pcs. If it ran android 2.2 instead of android 2.0, it would be more acceptable. Besides, there is no promise of upgrading to android 2.2 in the near future. Though Cruz reader offers a very normal definition, 800 x 480, it is able to have a capacitive touch screen. You know how much the customers like capacitive touchscreen and dread resistive screen. No camera. So if you want to take pictures or do video chatting, then … Continue

Blackberry Playbook: An iPad competitor or “iPad beyonder”?

IPad VS Blackberry Playbook

IPad is definitely the benchmark of tablets, ushering a grand tablet era. The keyword “iPad” will invariably appear in almost all the related articles about the newly announced or launched tablets. For instance, tablets no better than iPad can be called iPad clone, such like Cherrypad America; tablets can match with iPad in some ways can be named as iPad competitors, iPad rival or iPad contender, such as Dell Streak, Samsung Galaxy, HP Slate and Advent Vega. How about tablets better than iPad? What can we call it? There is no specific name for it since up till now no tablet can really threat the unique place of iPad. If any, we may … Continue
