Flytouch 3G-Enabled Version

Flytouch 3G-Enabled Version

It becomes inevitable for designers and manufacturers to concentrate more on Flytouch series and enrich their functionalities due to the continuing demand. So it is a natural step to bring an integrated 3G module to Flytouch 3 though some may deem that they can do without a packed-in 3G stuff since Flytouch series all sport well external 3G. Well, do not underestimate the temptation of voice call on a 3G-enable tablet PC.

Now here comes a Flytouch 3 with internal 3G module. It looks almost the same as Wifi-only version, but under scrutiny, we can find there is one difference in port. The RJ45 port located in the bumped part on Wifi-only model is replaced by a … Continue

8 inch flytouch android 2.2 tablet

8 inch flytouch android 2.2 tablet

I’ve got a chance to lay my hand on the demo unit of this 8 inch android 2.2 tablet Superpad of Infotmic platform, which also powers the noted Flytouch 3. It is indeed a prototype and it looks as if I could even sniff some sort smell typically in the plant. So it is totally forgivable if it looks not so elegant and performs not so perfectly during my course of review.

At first glance, it shares the same design with Flytouch 3 except the discrepancy of size and ratio. The buttons and layout on the top are the same. But ports on the right side show explicitly the differences. The ports might not … Continue

8 Inch Flytouch 3 Has Come Out?

8'' flytouch 3

8'' flytouch 3

I tend to believe that 10 inch might be the only proper size for the Flytouch series tablet when no size variants of Flytouch 3 ever come out. But now I have to change this stereotypical notion when I stumble upon an 8 inch tablet PC which looks like Flytouch 3 much. So has the 8 inch Flytouch 3 sneaked into the market?

I got the specs details for this 8 inch tablet PC, indeed much similar with those of Flytouch 3. Also based on Infotm 210, this slate runs android 2.2 instead of android 2.1 and has an 8’’ resistive touchscreen with resolution of 800*600, 256MB of DDR 2, 2GB of nand flash, a battery of … Continue

flytouch 2

flytouch 2 simplified

Flytouch 2, also named as Superpad, has been enjoying popularity for over six months due to its highly affordable price and attractive features: large size, various useful ports, integrated GPS, sporting 3G dongle, etc. Flytouch 3, at the triumphant call of its sibling, has already hit the market and maintained popularity with elevation both in operating system and RAM capacity, which help this tablet perform more smoothly.

Now here comes a “simplified version” of Flytouch 2, that is, without GPS but with a more advanced android OS. The specs for this tablet are a 1GHz AMR 11 Infotm X210 processor, android 2.2 sporting online flash, 256MB of RAM, 2GB of flash memory, a 10.1 inch … Continue

Aishuo A816 has been improved little by little to bring better user experience to the customers. You may be a little at loss about which tablet PC I refer to. Typically, Aishuo A816, the 8’’ android tablet, is featured with potent Samsung S5PV210 chipsets as processor and popular android 2.2 as operating system. After offering wide choices of color, adding more useful apps and stabilizing USB connectivity, this time Aishuo A816 gets something altered in the outside. The three conspicuous buttons are replaced by four touch keys. Besides the keys for the original Home, Back and Menu, there is also a hot key for browser. I also notice this tablet performs faster … Continue

Superpad 2

Flytouch 3 Superpad 2

Fine, black is the mainstream color for so many electronic devices, now with no exception of Flytouch 3, also known as the second-gen Superpad. Actually for users who are familiar with Flytouch 2 know well that there is only one color painted on the shell of Flytouch: silver. We are not going to complain here that how dull silver back looks on Flytouch 3. Now Flytouch 3 finally has a chance to wear a decent black suit to make his debut. Of course, I also notice some other slight alterations on this black flytouch 3.

The black shell makes Flytouch 3 appear sexier.

Flytouch 3 Hands-on & review

flytouch 3

flytouch 3

Finally, I lay my hands on Flytouch 3 and have a chance to review it. Just as what has been stated, I see no difference in the design or dimension between Flytouch 2 and Flytouch 3. The ports include two USB, a TF card slot, HDMI output, RJ 45 interface, an earphone jack, a DV plughole. Of course, the specs and outward appearance are definitely not my focus. What I am trying to dig out is that whether it can bring some sort of surprise to me. But the outcome is… Eh, see what I’ve got from this tablet.

Flytouch 2

Flytouch really lives up to its name and soars to popularity at an amazing pace. Flytouch 2 didn’t receive much attention last year and only few manufacturers chose it as the platform. Indeed, with much similar configuration as Zenithink ZT-180 ePad, Flytouch 2 has some pleasing improvement in some essential aspects.

First of all, Flytouch 2, packed with a 10.1-inch display, not only comes with almost the same size as iPad and but also looks much like iPad, which can be considered a very successful iPad knockoff. The second is the excellent video playback decoding capability, … Continue
