First Ali Cloud OS-Powerd Tablet Called YunPai meets public with K-touch W800

Only one moth passed from the announcement of Aliyun OS tablet, this YunPai– first AliCloud OS-powerd tablet appears at Tianyulangtong Exhibition with K-touch W800, the second generation of K-touch W700. First up is the W800 expected to land sometime before November, looks more or less the same with W 700 rocking a 1GHz Tegra 2 too. The one obvious difference is the slightly larger 4.3-inch display gracing the front of the W800. For YunPai, no words about price, release day and other details except the appearance. In the exhibition,we even can not see the device running for the OS still don’t installed in.

Motorola DROID RAZR will equip Ice Cream Sandwich in early 2012

Samsung Galaxy Nexus indeed could not be the only one android phone running Ice Cream Sandwich. Google has many children like Motorola,Asus and Sony. More phone venders will join in the android 4.0 group soon. Alain Mutricy, Motorola’s senior vice president of portfolio and product management, makes a response firstly that the DROID RAZR, will receive an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update early next year. Though the device was designed to run Android 2.3, Motorola has already created a time frame for an Android 4.0 roll-out. DROID RAZR starts is now available for pre-order at $150 on a three-year contract in US and UK.

Samsung and Google postpone Ice Cream Sandwich and Galaxy Nexus for Steve Jobs’s passing

Steve Jobs’s passing hurts every man‘s heart even for his opponents Samsung and Google. He charges the world and enlightens man’s creativity on touch screen. In order to miss this giant in electricity world, Samsung and Google sent out a joint announcement which says that Samsung and Google decide to postpone the new product announcement at CTIA Fall. “We believe this is not the right time to announce a new product as the world expresses tribute to Steve Jobs’s passing,” the spokesman Kim Titus from Samsung explained. Needless to say, this is the first time we’ve seen something like this happen. We need to wait some more time for glimpse of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

ZTE’s joined the allied Windows Phone 7.5 ranks by outing its Tania phone at PT/EXPO COMM CHINA 2011. Maybe it is little late to have its own Mango handset, but I think customers will not care about that for ZTE are focused on mass market with lower price points and the price for Tania will be not high that most people can afford it. Aimed at keeping up Samsung‘s strong growth momentum in high-end mobile devices and reducing its reliance on Google, Samsung planned to open its homegrown software platform –Bada to other developers and manufacturers next year. The WSJ reported a person who familiar with the situation said “Samsung is planning to make Bada software an open source platform next year, and the South Korean company has no plans to buy a software company.”Samsung also aimed to make Bada become a smart TVs incorporating advanced functions such as on-demand streaming into flat-screen displays. It is definite that more manufacturers will join Bada like android and more application will be on the way to meet public.
