First Chinese phone with 1.5GHz dual-core SoC–Xiaomi Phone pre-orders on August 29th

No long ago, I post some about Xiaomi M1 and JInshan’s cooperation and mentioned some features about Xiaomi phone. Today’s Beijing launch event shocks us that Xiaomi Phone no longer packs a 1.2GHz dual-core chip; instead, it’s been given a bump to a Qualcomm MSM8260 SoC, becoming the first Chinese smartphone to sport a 1.5GHz dual-core chip. The phone is also powered by a powerful Adreno 220 graphics processor, which will no doubt make good use of the phone’s 1GB RAM and a staggering 4GB ROM. Today, according to reliable sources, “Chinese iCloud” plan has been put into schedule by Jinshan Kuaipan and Xiaomi technology. All most at the same time, Xiaomi M1 was announced officially by Xiaomi technology that the launch conference would be hold in Beijing on Anugust 16.
