ZTE is reported to be working on a new tablet PC and will bring out a new member of ZTE’s tablet PC family of Light. Named as ZTE Light Plus, this new device, as the moniker hints, is actually an enhanced edition of its brethren, Light Tab. Running Android version of Gingerbread (android 2.3.3), Light Plus is slated to be available in Europe first with a retailing price of 250 euros, the same price level with ZTE Light Tab. When it comes to android tablets enabling voice call, none but ZTE V9 and Dreambook w7 would occur to my mind first. Don’t blame me presumptuous or narrow-sighted; it’s simply because phonelets (phone + tablet) are not yet a major force and only occupy a very small number among homegrown tablet PC army. Though not decisively, integrated 3G module still constitutes a very significant feature for tablet PC and often develops to a major selling point. ZTE V9, thanks to the repute of its begetter, enjoys higher exposure and publicity than Dreambook w7. So let’s put these two side by side and see how they differ from each other.
